10 Encouraging Bible Coloring Pages for Kids

See all our kids' printable activities here.

We are living in scary and uncertain times right now, as our world has been turned upside down. These Bible coloring pages are meant to give kids an opportunity to reflect on the good and positive in the world and in themselves, to give them hope, to inspire them to pray and trust in God.

Each of these free Bible coloring pages features a positive word, which is accompanied by a related Bible verse. Beneath the positive word, I’ve written a prompt. Kids can color or doodle their answers to each prompt.

A completed Bible coloring page featuring the word "unique" and a drawing of a dancer.

The encouraging words, verses, and prompts are:

  • Good (Romans 8:28): God, here is the good I see in the world…
  • Trust (Provers 3:5): God, I trust that you will…
  • Love (John 3:16): God, here is how I know you love me…
  • Gifts (1 Peter 4:10): God, these are the gifts you have given me…
  • Plans (Jeremiah 29:11): God, this is how I imagine my future…
  • Brave (Isaiah 41:10): God, here is a time when you helped me to be brave…
  • Hopeful (Romans 15:13): God, here are my hopes and dreams…
  • Unique (Psalm 139:14): God, this is what makes me unique…
  • Patient (Hebrews 6:15): God, here is something I waited for…
  • Prayer (Philippians 4:6): God, I pray…

For example, for the “Good” coloring page, your children might write a list of things that make them feel happy, reflect upon a moment when they experienced kindness, or draw pictures of all the good things they can think of.

With ten sheets in all, these Bible coloring pages could be spread out one-per-day for two school weeks, used on Sundays, or just kept on hand for when kids might need some encouragement or just to be engaged in a positive activity.

These also make wonderful conversation-starters and can give you a peek into what is on your kids’ minds.
